    Al,
This is wonderful. Hope it works out well.

You can add my Tuesday and Thursday morning rides from the southside old HEB area. We currently leave at 7am and go 30 to 50 miles, usually out west in the London & Petronila & airport areas. People should call me the night before to get the exact start time and location since both vary frequently. David Dunlap 361-563-6746.

    Hi Al

I rode with you last weekend and asked you to check out one of the cycling web sites. I might have given you an incomplete name. It should be “roadbikerider.com”. Sorry for the mistake. Hopefully you find this web site as
    informative as I do.

  8. Terry Michalyshyn

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Terry. I’ll be coming down to Corpus Christi on Feb 13 and I’m bringing my bike. I’ve never been there but I want to do as much riding as I can. I’ll be staying with friends on Sunset Dr. in the Ingleside-on-the-Bay area. Are there any riders who live in that area who can show me around? Do any of your rides pass thru here?

I would consider myself to be a B-B+ rider according to your classification. I’m up in Canada so I haven’t been on my road bike since mid-November. I don’t think my 10-15 minute rides on snow and ice really count for much.lol

Looking forward to hearing from you,

    T

      Terry,

Meet up at Lamar in Corpus Christi for Sat the 13th. Most of us are doing group rides Saturday and Sunday out of Lamar before the time change, and then will be back to HEB rides after the time change. If you have any questions, just email me.

      Ride safe,
      Al

        Hi Al,

I don’t get in til late tonight so I won’t be able to ride til tomorrow afternoon. Is the Monday 5:30 Stripes ride still on? I can meet the crew then.

        Terry

        February 13, 2010 at 8:47 am

  9. Right now, we are not riding the Monday Stripes ride due to the time change. There are a few of us who ride along the South Side on Monday, just email me and I’ll let you know what time we start on Monday. I’ll be in SA for the University Oaks Crit tomorrow morning. (Sunday). Most riders will have a group ride at Lamar on Sunday morning at 8am.

    Hi everyone!

My name is Jay. A few of us are coming down this weekend and are looking for a bike ride on Saturday/Sunday morning. The HEB and the Lamar ride look to be interesting – Are you having those rides this weekend if it doesn’t rain? Is there someone to ask for or do we just show up?

    Jay

    May 14, 2010 at 11:54 am

  12. Al

Jay, there may be some riders on Saturday, but Saturday is Beach to Bay Relay Marathon, which is a big event. Most riders may be participating , so the HEB and Lamar rides on Saturday may be small. The ride on Saturday at HEB starts at 7:30am and Lamar at 8am.

Most riders will be there on Sunday at Lamar. The ride begins at 8 am.

I am coming down to Corpus Christi for a weddding on Friday (don’t ask me why it’s on Friday!). I want to ride Saturday morning. Does the Lamar Park Ride go next Saturday (6/26) at 7:30 a.m? What pace does it go? Is there also an HEB ride? I’m probably a B rider. Thanks for any info you can give me.
